This PPT has been adapted from a team building ‘Lost at Sea’ task that I found online ( https://insight.typepad.co.uk/lost_at_sea.pdf ) I have made it into a fun PPT which explains the activity, the rules and gives instructions on how to play this game. I have also added a game sheet which I have adapted so that learners can work in groups. My learners had fun completing this task.

This is a fifteen paged booklet that I designed for adult learners who were completing a Level 1 City and Guilds Employability/ Personal Social Skills Course. This booklet is for the ‘Managing Personal Finance’ module. All the questions, tasks and scenarios meet the qualification criteria. As a tutor you can either go through the booklet page by page, using it as the base for your lesson plan or give the learners the book as a research project. A fun game. One player is asked to answer the scenarios on the page. Once they have answered these questions, the rest of the players answer the same questions with predictions of what the first player would have chosen. The person who predicts the most correct wins! A blank game sheet is attached so learners can create their own football themed game.

Game 1: Write down a ‘90s’ related word for each letter from A - Z. Whoever finishes first, wins! Game 2: Using the letters in ‘Whatever’ create as many words as you can. All words must be more than two letters long. The person who creates the most words, wins!.
